Tech-ni-Fold’s CreaseStream Mini Machines Sell Out At Gulf Print & Pack-
Now that the Gulf Print and Pack exhibition in Dubai is over we can look back at what a success the show was for us…
Tech-ni-Fold Ltd and sister company, CreaseStream, who exhibited at Gulf print & pack for the very first time were overwhelmed with the response they received over four incredible days. The UK based creasing specialists sold all three of their digital creasing & micro-perforating machines after only two days and by the end of the show had received 151 serious leads as well as 18 distributorship requests.
Graham Harris, the Managing Director of Tech-ni-Fold/CreaseStream explained how his preconceptions about how the show would work were blown away within hours, he explained –
“We came to educate visitors about the virtues of our rotary creasing technology and how we had adapted it to create three entry level digital creasing & perforating machines (The CreaseStream mini-series). We had experienced success in Europe and USA, but didn’t expect to attract so much attention or sell any of our machines here, let alone all of them. Our most popular solution has always been the Tri-Creaser, which fits onto folding machines to significantly improve scoring to a level that actually prevents folded items from cracking, however we found that 90% of visitors were digital printers and were more interested in the machines, it has been a fantastic experience.”
Harris went on to confess that the Gulf print & pack show was one of the very best exhibitions his company have attended in their 15 year history, and how he was disappointed to hear that he would need to wait another two years to return to the venue.
Last day madness, another CreaseStream mini packed up and sold,
this machine went off to Kanoni General Traders in Dubai
The UK Company feel as though they have done something special in the digital market by speeding up the process of creasing and making it more accessible to the world market through keeping the prices at an affordable level. Harris also believes that the market is changing and that busy people in print turn to the internet to find solutions, and he prides himself on what his company have achieved with the CreaseStream mini machines to accommodate this trend, he concluded –
“Our CreaseStream mini machines were cleverly designed using low maintenance parts to make up the structure, accompanied by a special instant play video instruction card to replace complicated manuals and to potentially reduce the need for installation engineers. This has surprised people who expect dealers to install and offer service contracts. At this show we sold direct to the customer as they saw the benefits of this business model, however we found that not everyone is ready for this type of change, this is why it is imperative that we sign at least one distributor over the pending weeks.”
Why not hear what some of our happy customers, including those from Gulf Print & Pack, think of their machines:
